Watching the waters rise
All around me

I look to My Father.

He says:

“Just because they are flooded
Doesn’t mean
You must be flooded”

I take a moment.

I look closer

I see Jesus.

He is standing
In my front yard
Completely dry

The flood waters
Do not touch Him
Or my house

We are safe

I go down.

I stand with Him
I see my neighbor

Jesus looks to me.

I go with Him
To save them
