Today’s Most Important Challenge is…

  • Staying emotionally present
  • With Jesus
  • Long enough to hear
  • The truth not being spoken
  • That can set me free

Immanuel Approach Memo

Continued from Righted

I am… traveling.

Insubstantial as mist
I go where the wind blows

I look for Jesus.

Wherever I find Him
I lend strength
Open ways
Heal hearts

Content
To do My Father’s work
Yet still yearning
To find out my origin

Finally
One day…

Jesus looks at me.

His mouth is smiling
But His eyes are grave
As He says:

“Your heart is now ripe
It is time for the final harvest
Where you will find your home”

Jesus transports me.

I find myself in Egypt
The land of exile
The land of my birth

I see a dragon
That was hidden
Arise from the Nile
That nourished me

I cannot see Jesus
In her
But my travels have taught me
He is always there

And so
Even though
It is the wellspring of my life
And without it
I will dry up and disappear…

I give her my heart.

To be concluded

Reflection

I feel…

  • Torn
  • Disheartened
  • Obedient
  • Glorious
  • Grateful

Scripture

“Wake up, wake up, O Lord! Clothe yourself with strength! Flex your mighty right arm! Rouse yourself as in the days of old when you slew Egypt, the dragon of the Nile.
Are you not the same today, the one who dried up the sea, making a path of escape through the depths so that your people could cross over?”‭‭

Isaiah‬ ‭51‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬
