The angry store owner
Who could not forgive me
For destroying her china shop

Forgot me
And her ruin
For the joy
When Jesus replaced it
With a fruit stand

I look for Jesus.

He reaches out His hand
Asking for the map
I had recovered
Stolen?
From His wounded body

I start shaking.

This map
Is what I had been searching for
Without realizing it
All my life

It contains the secrets
Of my origin
My heritage
My purpose
My identity

I have only just found it
How can I possibly give it up?

I look to Jesus.

I dare not run away
From Him
I cannot surrender
To Him

But as I stare at Jesus
Trembling with the tension
Something happens

My rocky form…

Starts to flake off!
