I am… walking in darkness.
Hiding from the Law
And the store owner
Whose shop I destroyed
I look for Jesus.
He sees me
He does not condemn me
But…
I refuse to let Him protect me
I head into the swamp
Where moth-eaten zombies attack me
I don’t care
I am invincible
Their teeth and claws
Cannot penetrate
My stony skin
Or hardened heart
I am not happy
But I am content
Because the darkness
Hides my shame
Until suddenly
There is light!
