I am… channeling.

We panicked sheep
Are trampling the river
Deepening it
Widening it
Until Right Whale Jesus
Can enter in

I am in front
Propelled by my fear

Yet somehow
At the same time
Calmed
Steadied
Focused
Connected

By the banks of the River
And the cries of the other Sheep

I look for Jesus.

I hear His whale song
Harmonizing with our chaotic bleats
As He sings:

Do not be afraid
To lose yourself in the flock
For I AM the shepherd

Do not be afraid
To fear what they fear
Because I will use that
To get you where you need to go

Do not be afraid
That the water is too shallow
For me to enter in

For as long
As you are with me
And I AM with you
We will always make a way
