I am… walking on the sea.

As my sheep-feet stepped into the water
Following the call of My Father
He raised up a highway
From the bottom of the ocean

Narrow
But straight
And perfectly dry

Dimly
I can sense other sheep
From other islands
Answering the call
On their own highways

But my attention
Is focused on the One
Who calls
Me

I look for Jesus.

His dolphin-form
That I slew
Has been raised
As a Right Whale

He sings to me
To all of me
To all of us

The islands
On which we hid
Start to sink

I join my bleat
To His song
Calling those who remain
To come with us
To the mainland

Or is it already too late?
