I am… sheepish.

My desert island
And I myself
Have been transformed
By the healing rain
Of heavenly grief

I realize
I had exiled myself
To flee
The terrible Hope
I had been given

I slew Jesus
And my reflective self
So they would not take me back
To face my destiny

But now…

I look to My Father.

I let out a bleat
Of worship
And realize
I am now a sheep

No longer a hunter
But a sacrifice

I feast on green pastures
From the spring rains
I frolic in the fields
Like a young lamb

I hear My Father.

He calls me
From across the water

I dash to the seashore
Joyfully
Heedlessly
Unthinkingly

And cast myself upon the water.
