The woods are scary, dark and deep

On the one hand, I have been here before
On the other, I usually die

Worse
I don’t even know what I am hunting
Though it is usually myself

I look for Jesus.

He is in front of me
Dressed in camouflage
But with a bright orange hunter’s vest

He holds a finger to his lips for silence
