I am… emerging.

Painfully
Vulnerably

Like a baby from the womb
Or an actor onto a stage
Or a product entering the market

Out of intimacy with God
Into the broken city
I was born to rule

I look to My Father.

He does not cut the cord

The veil between heaven and earth
Is not yet torn down
But it is pierced

My superpower
Is my connection
To my Father

The security of knowing
He is the man behind the curtain
Orchestrating everything
According to His script

I am His child on the stage
He does not expect perfection
Merely that I show up
Rather than hold back

And that I look for Him
And dance for Him
Even
If nobody else hears the music

Because if I see my Father
Seeing me
Nothing else matters
