I pour down through the holes
In the hand Jesus was using
To lift me as a torch
So others could see Him

I drain into the streets
Of the wretched neighborhood
I am supposed to rule

I look to My Father.

We have a become
Part of Him

They are the Body
I am the Blood

What I thought
Streets and alleys
Are arteries and veins

What I thought
Slums and obstacles
Were kidneys and bones

Everything
Was already in place

Everything
Is finally ready

I listen for My Father.

He says

“Breathe!”
