I am… burning.

It isn’t exactly painful
But it is intensely uncomfortable
Like being crawled over by ants
While standing on Legos

Jesus needed
A light in the darkness
Explained what He meant
And asked for volunteers

I’m still not sure why I said “Yes”

Maybe
Because I too
Felt lost in the darkness

I look to Jesus.

He raises me up
Like a beacon

I stand on His hand
Like a torch

People
Do not really see me
But they see Him
In my light
