Dream: Cycles

Our youth group is on the run.

I’m not sure why
But I have to get them off the island

A local sees us playing with the bikes
And suggests using the rocket-powered ones
Analog, solid rockets with manual fuses
Because nobody should trust digital

I talk with the other leader
About leaving Sunday
After our worship time

He is nervous
About them arresting us
If we take too long

“These kids have families and a future”

I grin

“If that is the way the world is turning
Where people can get arrested for worshipping
Wouldn’t it be cool to be first?”

The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing that they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name.

Acts 5:41
