I am… talking.

The statue built
From my broken dreams
And fractured mind
Opens its mouth
Saying

“Here am I
Send me”

I look for My Father.

He reaches out
To touch my chest

My heart of stone
Becomes flesh

I gasp
As the breath of life
Fills my lungs

My Father looks to me.

He says

“Run
Run as if your life
Depends upon it”

I set my feet
Upon the path

And take off like a bullet…
