The name of Jesus

Surely
He must be opposed?

I look to My Father.

He is not angry
He is not worried

My Father looks at me.

I feel seen
I feel understood
I feel safe

I realize
This world
No longer
Has any power of me

Rather
Every insult
Injury
Injustice

Done to Jesus
Or me

Was already captured by the cross
And turned to victory

It is not
That I will be free
But rather
I have become freedom
