I am… unseeing.
I don’t know
If I have lost my vision
Or all the lights have disappeared
From the underground tunnel
Where we are running after Jesus
I look for Jesus.
But I see nothing
So I slow down.
As I walk
With my arms outstretched
In front of me
I feel a hand
Someone
Ahead of me
Is reaching back
I grab their hand
And reach one back
For the next person
I realize
Jesus
Must have slowed down
Perhaps even stopped
Because He cares more
About us staying together
Than going fast…
