I am… dancing in the dark.

I ran through the light barrier
Into a dark dimension
Inhabited by all the abjected selves
That fear the light
And vice versa

I can’t see
Far enough to move
But I can hear
The huddled masses yearning to breathe free

So I dance in place
Badly
Wildly
Joyfully
Freely

Hoping
This will generate
Enough light
To show them the way
To freedom

I look for Jesus.

He is dancing with me
Or perhaps
I am dancing with Him

My dance may not be
Generating light
But His
Consumes the darkness
Enough
That eyes are opened
And they see me

I am glad
But totally unprepared
For what happens next…
