I am… flatlining.

My body is rejecting
The broken heart of Jesus
He implanted within me

I look to Jesus.

He is empty
Having given everything
For me

We stare into heaven
Immobile
Unbreathing
For three seconds

Then a Voice shouts

“Clear”

Fire falls from heaven
Like lightning

I am hurled to my feet
Transfigured
Revived
Reborn

I want to stop
And look for Jesus
But my feet
Have a mind of their own

They start to run
I start to run
Faster than we ever have before

But
Where are we going?
