My cloud of living water
Was smashed by Jesus
Into the islands of Man

Everything I held onto
We held onto
He held onto

Was destroyed
Collapsed
Crumpled
Smooshed
Liquefied

We have become clay
In His hands

I look for Jesus.

He sees my eyes
Then for them He shapes
A head
A body
Limbs
Features
From the dust of the earth

He pulls me out
And sets me apart
On one side

Then does the same
With everyone else

Each person
As
Meticulously
Precisely
Intentionally
Fashioned
As me

We are all made
From the same combination
Of dirt and living water

We all
Have feet of clay

We all
Have our part to play

But
What is mine?
