I am at a fancy hotel for a conference. Though the big outdoor rally is actually that afternoon, so I have to check out first. I had forgotten, so I need to rush back and gather my things.
While standing in the checkout line, I hear some parents mocking Millennials for being power-hungry.
I turn to them and say:
“Maybe we Gen-X-ers weren’t power hungry enough. We were focused on keeping our heads down just to survive. But perhaps that is only because we didn’t understand the power of the cross.”
