I am… inflated.

Christ speaks a Word
I fill up with holy water
From the mountain of God

Improbably
I become lighter
Like a helium balloon

A giant cloud
Pregnant with rain
Overshadowing the land

I look for Jesus.

He is watching
Waiting

I continue to grow
To spread
To cover

The tension is too much
I cannot bear it

I blot out the sun
People come out of their houses
Huddled in fear

Finally
Christ speaks:

“Let it rain!”
