Immanuel Approach Memo
Continued from 5/18 IAM: Throned
I am… angry.
Jesus shows up
On the besieged planet of my heart
Takes His throne
And tells us to surrender
Our most strategic position
To the invaders
To my amazement
The other beings in the war room
Calmly accept this
And begin to execute His plan
But at a signal from Him
Pause
They look to me.
I am trembling with rage
How dare He
Doesn’t He know
How much we sacrificed
To build that position?
Doesn’t He remember
It was built
At His command?
I look to Jesus.
I see
The tears in His eyes
I see
The smile on His face
He knows
He remembers
Far, far better than I do
Jesus looks to me.
He points to the invaders
“Do you not know
Have you not seen
That I have other sheep
That must be brought
Into My fold?”
I look at Jesus.
I see His heart
As My heart
Not a fortress
But a trap
Using vulnerability
To suck out evil
So they can be redeemed
I look at my selves.
I give the order
To obey Jesus
“Make it so”
To be continued
Reflection
I feel…
- Humbled
- Unworthy
- Broken
- Invaded
- Glorious
- Victorious
- Seen
Scripture
“He reduces rulers to nothing and makes the elite of the earth as nothing at all. They barely get planted and barely take root in their position of power when the Lord blows on them and they wither away, carried off like straw in the stormy wind.”
Isaiah 40:23-24 TPT
