Is me

He gave me to distribute
Is my picture
In full living color
Above the caption

“Local boy gives life to save city”

I look to Jesus.

His smile
Is both sad
And joyful

“The Good News…”

He says

“… is that today
You will be with me
In paradise”

I stare at Him

He lifts an eyebrow

“Isn’t that
What you want most?”

I look at my heart.

And I realize
He is right
