I am… standing on a mountaintop.

Holding a scroll
Unrolling it
Reading it

The words
Cut my tongue
Pierce my heart
Slay my body

I collapse
The blood
Draining from my body

As life ebbs away…

I look to My Father.

He smiles
And holds out a cup
To collect my blood

Then pours it
Over the side
Of the mountain

It becomes
A mighty River
A torrent
A waterfall

That cascades
Into the desert
Causing it to bloom

I see it
With my last breath
Then all is darkness
