Today’s Most Important Challenge is…
- Embracing the terrifying truth
- That to sustainably enjoy intimacy
- I must be secure enough
- To repeatedly incarnate
- Into your greatest pain
- Through mine
Yahweh Approach Memo
Continued from 4/19 YAM: Reader
I am… on a sailboat.
Adrift in the ocean
Without wind
Or companionship
Or supplies
I thought
I was doing
What My Father wanted
I thought
I was doing
What would secure my happiness
Bring me love
Expand His Kingdom
But now
It all seems in vain
I look to My Father.
I see His mighty face
In the clouds
I feel His mighty breath
In the winds
They push me
In the opposite direction
I had been going
Away
From civilization
Away
From my mate
Away
From my destiny
I land on a desert island.
I am no longer a scholar
I am a survivor
I learn to hunt
To cook
To fish
To swim
I grow strong
I discipline my body
I cherish the solitude
I make peace
With the voices in my head
I’d been ignoring
A terrible storm comes.
It destroys everything I have ever built
And dredges up from the depths
An abandoned pirate ship
Filled with jewels and gold
Armor and weapons
Tools and equipment
Miraculously preserved
Ready for use
I chart a course
Raise my sails
And prepare to head back
From whence I came
Wondering
Where the wind
Will actually take me
To be continued
Reflection
I feel…
- Reborn
- Unworthy
- Devastated
- Rewarded
- At Peace
Scripture
You will look back on the fears of your past and say, “Now, where is the scholar? Where is the adviser? Where is the one who numbers those who are maturing?”
Isaiah 33:18, 21-23 TPT
Glorious Yahweh will be there for us in a land with broad rivers and life-giving streams, where the hostile, majestic ships will not sail. The Lord Yahweh is our Judge, our Lawgiver, and our King; he will save us completely!
Your ropes hang loose, your mast is not secure, and your sail is not unfurled. Then there will be a great plunder, such an abundant treasure divided that even the lame will seize their rich share.
