I am… Simba returned.
But still just a cub.
Brought back by Rafiki-Jesus
Who was killed by Hyenas

My Father came
When I cried out

But not
As I thought
To scatter them

Instead
He sings

A love song
(Like Rock Dog)
That makes their warring cease

The reason
The Hyenas
Attacked Jesus
Is they were hoping
He was strong enough
To defeat them
Subdue then
Stop them
From fighting themselves

And He is
But that isn’t
The game
He is playing

His Father
Is playing
A much deeper Song

I look for Jesus.

He looks
Like He has been dead
For three days

But as
Our Father sings
The Hyenas come
And lick His wounds
Wash His feet
Kneel before Him

Even though
He is still dead

I look to the Father.

He looks to me
And I know
What I must do

But can I?
