Today’s Most Important Challenge is…

  • Holding enough space
  • For us all to see
  • Precisely
  • How Jesus loves us

Immanuel Approach Memo

I am… a sheep

Without a flock
At least, I can’t see one

I thought I was following our shepherd
I thought we all were

But when I look up from grazing
I don’t see anyone

I cry out for Jesus.

And He taps me on my shoulder
With His rod and His staff

I look around
I see Him
He was behind me all the time
I bleat for joy

He kneels down
And holds me close

I listen.

Now
That I am no longer
Preoccupied by myself
I can hear other sheep
In the distance

They are crying
But not out

I look at Jesus.

He nods
It is time

I start gamboling toward the nearest sheep
Bleating joyfully

Time to reassemble the herd

To be continued

Reflection

I feel…

  • Found
  • Watched
  • Covered
  • Connected
  • Happy
  • Excited
  • Secure

Scripture

O people in Zion who dwell in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. He will surely be gracious when you cry for help; when He hears, He will answer you.
