I am… growing

All the jewels of the stolen crown
Pillars in the House of my God
Including me
Were turned to dust
Scattered like seeds

The Kingdoms of Man have fallen
Crushing the Hidden Garden
But not flattening Christ

I look for Jesus.

I see nothing
I have lost my spherical vision
But I know Jesus is with me

I hear his voice.

Whispering
In the quiet
As the wind and waves cease
As the dust of fallen kingdoms settle

All the seeds that were planted
Slowly begin to germinate
Sprouts claw their way upward
Towards unseen light

Then suddenly
He is finished
There is nothing more left to say

We wait
In the silence
With Jesus
We don’t know why

Then suddenly
God speaks
A Word
The Word

Lightning flashes

Then everything disappears.
