I am… part of a team
Flying

The Spirit descended on several of us
And we ascended in response

We soar towards the ruined city
Flying in formation
A circle
Expanding as we go

I see my Opposite Number
Head towards the East Gate
While I go West

Meanwhile
The bulk of the Redeemed
Marches towards the city
Singing songs of joy

I look for Jesus.

He is marching with those on the ground
But also watching over us in the sky
Grinning

I feel a pang
That we are not with Him
But I remember
That He is with us

The flyers land
We form a perimeter
Around the city

Jesus leads the marchers
Around the city
Seven times

We on the perimeter
Set the boundary
For their course
Their tempo
Their rhythm
Their rhyme and reason

We cheer them on
Wishing we could join them
But knowing Christ has a reason
For us to be exactly where we are

After the seventh circuit
Christ leads them in a mighty shout
And the walls
Come tumbling UP!
