I am… following Jesus down a long dark tunnel
Of the well that has gone dry

I get distracted by my own thoughts
I lose sight of Jesus
I hit my head on a stalactite

I knock myself out

When I wake up
I can’t see anything

I don’t know if it is dark
Or I am blind

I look for Jesus.

I can’t see anything
But I hear His voice

Singing
Calling me

I place my hands in front of me
And slowly shuffle forward

The voice grows louder
But still I see nothing

The words are clearer now
He is telling me
To run to Him

This is insane
I have no idea where I am
What kind of tunnel this is
How far away He is

But He knows

He also knows
What is urgent
What is important
And what I need
(what we need)

And I don’t

So I close my eyes
Lower my hands

And begin to run towards the song…
