It is a long trip
The weather is good
Traffic is light
My mind drifts

Suddenly
The sky grows dark
Traffic bunches up
I grow tense

I look for Jesus.

I suddenly realize
He is driving

Not me

I wonder
If I need to help Him
By pointing out things
In His blind spot

But quickly stop

He is relaxed
Focused on where we are going
But fully aware
Of everything happening around Him

Unlike me

Maybe I need His help
To see in my blind spots…
