IsMe (hat tip to the children’s riddle)

Then I said: “Woe is me, for I am ruined, because I am a man of unclean lips dwelling among a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of Hosts.”

Isaiah 6:5

If we to the rescue would ride
Then I have no place to hide
For sin is mine
And the divine
Surely will destroy my pride

Yet this ruin I celebrate
For brokenness opens the gate
Though we were lost
Sin’s list, off is crossed
And treasures of joy lie in wait!

Today I will embrace
Being an ass for Jesus
