Today I will bless
Rather than curse
God’s pruning
Lord, you made us to bear fruit
But instead we gave you the boot
Our fighting within
And blindness to sin
Makes all our religion moot
Yet judgment is actually boon
For this is the way that you prune
As you humble hearts
That’s when healing starts
Which means that your kingdom comes soon!
For the vineyard of the LORD of Hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah are the plant of His delight. He looked for justice, but saw bloodshed; for righteousness, but heard a cry of distress.
