1/7 Bi-Limerick: Sanctu-wary

A shelter to give shade from the heat by day, and a refuge and hiding place from the storm and the rain.

Isaiah 4:6

Lord my heart know that You’re kind
But that won’t convince my mind
Summer’s burnt day
Winter’s storm fray
Makes me feel outcast and blind

Grant me the soul of child
That seeks You out amidst the wild
When You I trust
It breaks through my crust
To know in my failure, You smiled

Today I will rejoice in the smile
That makes it worth all the while
