A. Pruning: Creating space to become the best version of myself — by cutting off the option to stay worse.
If we wish to bear heaven’s fruit
We must let Him cut off what’s moot
The pain that we feel
Reveals what is real
And opens to us a new route
For we are not weeds in hedgerows
But part of the garden He grows
Each surgical loss
Proves God is boss
And I am a child that love knows
Today I will receive the gift
Of God pruning me
So I can safely prune others
