“The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! And you will recognize him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger.”
Luke 2:11-12 NLT
It’s easy to point out a king
When he is covered with bling
Much harder to know
That this manger low
Conceals the Lord of everything
That’s why we must open our ears
To this season’s tided good cheers
For outcasts like we
Are those who will see
How God to we sinners draws nears
Today I will rejoice
That my outcast state
Earns me first place
At heaven’s low gate
