John 19:5: Then Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. And Pilate said to them, “Behold the Man!”
Why is it so hard to see
The love that Your heart holds for me?
Is it because of the lies
That Satan pulls over our eyes?
Or maybe I don’t want to face
My horrific need for Your grace
The bloody yet triumphant Lord
Who gave Himself up to be gored
This is the present divine
Which proves that Your suffering is mine
The cross burns unbreakable weld
When by His gaze I am held
Today I will be held
As I behold
Radically Happy
