Hat tip to Genesis 3:7

“He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees. When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.”‭‭

Luke‬ ‭21‬:‭29‬-‭31‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Before Your kingdom prevail
We must confront how we fail
To bear Your name
And take the shame
Of all those beyond the pale

For that is how Christ died for us
And why we sing in grateful chorus
The world will be free
When you and me
Bleed for them through kingdom porous

Today I will leave my shame
At the cross of Christ
So Others can leave theirs
At mine

On either side of the river stood a tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit and yielding a fresh crop for each month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

Revelation 22:2
