11/25 Tri-Limerick: Know Fear

“When you hear of wars and rebellions, do not be alarmed. These things must happen first, but the end is not imminent.”

Luke 21:9

If we dare to live our romance
We must learn with danger to dance
The root of our fear
Is drawing near
And baring our soul to mischance

Yet fear ain’t a foe to be slain
But a helpful totem of pain
Of battles unwon
That must be redone
If we a kingdom would gain

So let’s take our fear to the cross
That gold may be freed from its dross
When we’re fully known
God rules from His throne
And shows all our fear Who is boss!

Today I will trust
That the I AM
Is in charge
