If I’m to learn
To cope with my strifes
I must become
The way that truth lifes

This world’s so confusing
My light is so dim
I can’t trust my ego
“I” must become “Him”

I must feel the heart-rend
That tempts you to sin
And nail that to Jesus
So grace can begin

I must face the darkness
Disguised as my light
And confront the wrongness
Concealed by my right

For only salvation
That’s living in me
Can pierce through the veil
To set us both free

So this is the journey
That Christ came to give
When we share His death
We prove that Truth live
