7/23 Limerick: Mercy Haver

Today I will receive mercy
So I have enough to share

If I’m to be more than cadaver
I must become a Mercy Haver
I swallow my pride
To bring Christ His Bride
Because my joy’s that He have Her

Then they came to Jericho.
And as He was leaving Jericho with His disciples and a large crowd, a blind beggar named Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the road.
When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
Many were sternly telling him to be quiet, but he kept crying out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”‬‬

in an intelectual world that holds a spirit

i too, have mercy, for those who deserve mercy.
though i was given none, though i did not need any.
still, no mercy too was given to truth, spilled from my soul, in honor of our Lord.

Truth was murdered. No mercy from the hands of criminals. Still, to this day, their crimes sanctioned. -no mercy- from any of said criminals, nor the complicit, both dead and alive. -no mercy-, none then, nor none today.

i too have integrity, to truth, and for where truth is needed, i gave it, indeed, still do. Both then and now, it was never received, nor was it ever sought. In fact – many crimes were and are committed to keep the truth silent. Crimes committed so that truth would not prevail. i never received any mercy in that either, neither from the spiritual world, nor the world of the living. Though, i did not need it, all i needed was truth to prevail

and so, i still have it. —integrity to truth—. And, were i to have the power, i would show the same amount of mercy that has been shown to me. Though i needed no mercy – just that the truth prevailed, and still, i work that it will prevail – and maybe the murdered Marine, have a bit of life to live through the resurrection of who he was and always has been in life and as a ghost.

God have Mercy, Christ have Mercy! Great saying!

Good afternoon Dr E, i hope U and yours are having a terrific Wednesday!
