Faith ain’t a matter
Of thous and of thees
But living a live
Where trust in God frees
A trust based on fear
Is really half-lie
Shame-based obedience
Splits you from I
If we want a faith
The world longs to share
We must demonstrate
How much God doth care
Faith in God’s Law
Only does so much
What we must trust in
Is His healing touch
By bearing a cross
The whole world now sees
Is how we will prove
That trust in God frees
Today I will dare to seek
trustworthy freedom
