My deepest fear Is that I will lose myself If I have too much empathy For your brokenness
When evil around us is so manifest How does Christ want us to handle that test? The pain that we feel Although it is real Is just a reminder we’re here as a guest
To endure great hardship we must have a “why” And our greatest calling is with Christ to die The cry of our heart Is to share His part For in crucifixion we find our “true I”
And that is the grace which we must manifest To prove to the world that His love is the best When we’re forgiv’n We stop fearing sin And make foes redemption our shared lifelong quest
