What are the most important things needed to live a good life?

If we are to see
All things made new
Our Selves must become
Fully “Kingdom True”

The “plumb line” of Law
Is still a good guide
But yet insufficient
To heal us inside

For we’re not just bricks
But also a seed
The world has to see
We’ve got what they need

Our lives are all trapped
Twixt ego and fear
We long to be good
But no path is clear

This is the confusion
That Christ came to save
Such ego must die
Then rise from the grave

As we build God’s temple
Each stone bears His face
We all grow like Him
Through transforming Grace

Today I will see God
One face at a time
