TGR-S3E4-OLD The Internet of Teams

Continuing our discussion of the Biastes Co-Discipleship Network, our 1pm PST Tuesday, July 28, 2020 episode of The Great Reset proposes a radical new social architecture that aligns our solutions with human need, rather than vice versa.

Question

What would it take for us to become more effective at curing systemic inequity and relational brokenness?

Perspective

We must change our existing structures of power; not just who pulls the levers, or why.

  1. Solving problems always requires power
  2. Each form of power requires a specific context to operate
  3. Every context make certain problems easier to solve, at the price of making others impossible to solve
  4. Deeply-rooted problems can only be solved by a radical change of context, which requires radically different power structures
  5. This implies our ultimate priority must be empowering others to create contexts that critique and transcend ours
  6. At scale, this implies replacing centralized “firms” with a decentralized network of emergent yet mutually accountable teams, both cooperating and competing to better solve human problems
