   My partial notes on discussion topics of today, “partial” in that I did not comment on everything.

   Question
   What is the most effective and scalable context for co-constructing disciples of Jesus?

   Steve: “effective” and “scalable” are business strategy terms for optimizing variables. Jesus pulled his team of misfits together with love and car

   Paul, worked with other men and women to disciple them in the ways of Christ, effective measured by the transformative power of Christ in their lives and their ability to replicate. He didn’t focus on the effective strategy is except to persist through all difficulties to show the love of God to others by relationship and service. One at a time, sometimes a few at a time, sometimes a group at a time.

   * Christlike Self-Differentiation: deliberate practices for refining
   * our thoughts, feelings & desires to
   * more accurately recognize
   * God, Self & Other through the
   * Word & Spirit, Body & Blood
   * Steve > self-differentiation in terms of the Spritual Gifts that God has given

   * Must be in a community of believers to grow the gifts, share practices

   * Paid small group leaders? I know churches that valued small groups enough to pay for a pastor to oversee them. For example, in San Jose, 2002-2017, Silver Creek Church Community => Twin Oaks Church => Echo.church paid someone to oversee small groups
   * Ted calls for a mission vision in the groups … see Adullam https://micn.org/tangible-kingdom/
   * Can you be a part of multiple church small groups, can you be effective, transformative, transparent, known?
   * Our children, our disciples need to have their own values of Christ, not our own, their own!
