I am… pre-natal.

The womb should be a safe place
Cozy
Form-fitting

But is not
It has become a raging sea

I am a sailing ship
Sailing blind
And somewhere
There be dragons

I look for Jesus.

He is not here with me
But He blows

His Spirit
Fills my sails
Building momentum

His Spirit
Parts the clouds
Ending the rain
Clearing my path

His Spirit
Whispers truth
Into my ears
Telling me the way

I shiver

Because now
I can hear His voice
From outside
Calling me
To come to Him

To face the dragons
